Boris Johnson MP, Mayoral Candidate for London, and former Shadow Minister for Higher Education and David Willetts MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities, and Skills today made clear their support for the Northern Ireland education system at a Fringe meeting at the Conservative Party Conference in Blackpool.

Conservatives urge Paisley to seek urgent counselling.

The Conservative Party in Northern Ireland has issued a challenge to Ian Paisley Jr (MLA for North Antrim) to seek urgent counselling for his apparent homophobia.
The junior minister at the OFMDFM made disgracefully homophobic comments in an interview in Hot Press Magazine, where he described his repulsion at homosexuality, and by extension, Northern Ireland’s thriving LGBT communities.
