Businesses Unite Against Capital Gains Plans

The key business lobby groups today united against the government’s plans to introduce a flat-rate capital gains tax.
According to the BBC web site, “the CBI, Institute of Directors, British Chambers of Commerce and Federation of Small Businesses said they were “deeply concerned” about the proposals and were seeking a meeting with Mr Darling to put forward [...]
